2012 General Primary Information
March 5 First day for civilians to request an absentee ballot
March 26 Last day to register or change party enrollment for the April 24 Municipal Primary
April 17 Last day before the General Primary on which official applications for civilian absentee ballots may be received
April 20 Last day to receive voted civilian, non-emergency absentee ballots
April 24 General Primary
April 27 Friday Canvass

Registering to Vote and Absentee Voting:

In order to register to vote or to request an absentee ballot, a properly completed form must be submitted to the Voter Registration/Elections office. Forms may be obtained from the Voter Registration office or by going to VotesPA.com and printing out the appropriate form.

Petitions for county and municipal offices may be picked up at the elections/voter registration office or will be mailed upon request. Petitions for state and federal offices may be obtained from the Department of State or from the Department of State website.
